If you’re just checking out my music for the first time, cool! Hope you find something that feels right as your old denim shirt, or the front porch at home. If you don’t find something of mine that just knocks you over, check out some of my favorite partners in crime with the artist links on the page below.

Danielle Vaughn writes as honest a song as you have ever heard. No pretense, no nonsense or cheap filler, just musical essence with emotional integrity. What angels try to sound like.

McCall Erickson pulls you in and takes you for a melodic ride full of little lyrical surprises, her voice leaving you pleasantly breathless.

Brett Turner …Oh, my Lord! Where did this guy learn to write, play and sing with the depth of a veteran. Magical grooves … and just try to find a cliché in his lyrical hooks… dare ya!

Theresa Ellis the fiddle phenom.  I am so blessed to work with her.  She is the consumate pro.  She was playing for Phil Spector arrangements in Motown at age 12.  What a jazz, bluegrass, celtic innovator with the 4 string (and the 5 string for that matter).

Shades of Grey – Bluesgrass Daredevils "BGD" Is trying to get back in the studio for their sophomore release. This should be another compilation of original and carefully handpicked cover material. WE just have to get Frosty, Gary, Theresa, Joe and me in town at the same time. I’m a bit partial to these guys. “Four Dollar Boots” is still a great truck drivin’, beer drinkin, CD and is available via the Shades of Grey website (shadesofgrey.info) or send me an e-mail.

Frosty McWilliams Horns, banjos, mandolins Oh No! Horns, banjos ....
and now songwriting. His first release should be titiled songs that'll make you grin. Check out his stuff on my space.

I’ve also been blessed to work with Kaiser on another project called Pladdohg. Pladdohg is a Celtic/rock/folk amalgam that Kaiser pioneered in Northern California. The band is re-forming with some Utah singers and players under Kaiser’s guidance. Look for some samples of this band on this site as they become available. And, catch Pladdohg Saturday July 25, 2009 at Music On the Mountain at Wolf Mountain (in Eden) and at the Ogden Valley Balloon Festival August, 2009. This band will kick butt and take names like few others (String cheese Incident, The Other Ones, Pogues). If you ever wondered what it would sound like if the Chieftains, met the Grateful Dead, met Jethro Tull, met the Beatles, met Beau Soleil and jammed … Pladdohg!
